Our Philosophy
Kent and Charlie launched this company in 1996 with two big ideas that traditional providers just could not seem to understand. One is the convergence of computer and telephone technology; the other is the critical importance of good old-fashioned customer service.
While others tried hiring new people, even acquiring other companies, we knew we needed a whole new attitude, a fresh working environment:
Our focus is service. We want a mutually profitable relationship with a limited number of clients. We would rather develop a long-lasting relationship with our clients than simply sell them a system and leave. Ninety percent of our staff are certified technicians.
Every employee is in customer service, every employee is a sales person! When you call AMERICAN TELECOM SOLUTIONS, the phone rings no more than three times. The first person to answer your call is your customer service representative. You will not be transfered to a caller queue and forced to wait.
All technicians are cross-trained on computers, cabling and telephony. Most companies train thier employees in one or two functional areas, limiting their skill set. Instead of narrowing thier value, we simply pay them more money than our competitiors can offer.
Multiple service technicians are on call for after-hours emergencies. Other companies usually have one technician on call for emergencies. AT AMERCIAN TELECOM SOLUTIONS, after-hours calls are dispatched to a minimum of four persons via their celluar phone. We do not use pagers!
